Do Not CallDNC
Also called: DNC list · do-not-call registry
A Do Not Call (DNC) list is a registry of phone numbers that have opted out of unsolicited marketing calls. Businesses running outbound campaigns must scrub their lists against DNC registries and honor opt-outs to stay legally compliant.
DNC obligations vary by country (the US National DNC Registry, TPS in the UK, etc.). A compliant AI calling platform enforces DNC scrubbing, calling-hour windows, and instant opt-out handling automatically. Scrubbing is separate from carrier reputation: calling people who did not opt in is also what gets a number labelled as Spam Risk, which no registry check will undo.
