Concurrency
Also called: concurrent calls · call concurrency
Concurrency is the number of simultaneous phone calls a voice platform can handle at once. It determines how big an inbound spike you can absorb without busy signals, and how fast an outbound campaign can run.
A human team's concurrency equals its headcount; an AI voice agent's is a platform setting that scales elastically. High concurrency is what lets an AI calling agent clear a list of thousands in a short window.
